Extended Base
Unit
With the help of an engineer, it has taken me nearly a
year to design this Extended Base Unit. Please take a few minutes to view this video of my
NEW
Extended Base Unit.
Some important features about my Extended Base Unit
(EBU) are:
The EBU is easy to put on and take off of the
quilting machine
It is not necessary to move or re-position the
hopping foot to put the EBU on the quilting machine.
The EBU fits securely to the quilting machine
The EBU is made from aluminum with a baked on powder
coating.
When installed, the EBU allows easy access to the
bobbin case.
At this time the Extended Base Unit will only fit
the
Gammill quilting machine.

Wide
Backing Fabrics
These fabrics 108 inches wide and
are 100% cotton
Note: Many times the raw edges of wide fabrics do not cut
or tear "evenly". Because of this I recommend purchasing 1/2 yard more
fabric than you need. Ask me how I know this!
Minimum cut, 1 yard, then 1/2 yard increments. Please
enter Quantity as a decimal.
Example: 3 1/2 yards = 3.5 yards

GripLite Side Clamps

Over the years I have been trying to find a
good, stable, side clamp. This clamp is the best I have found to date. I
have been testing them for the last few weeks and they work really well!
Even though they are light, they grip the fabric well and don't slip
when secured. I really like the double Velcro straps - the Velcro
even sticks to itself which means you can loop the strap around your
machine in different ways. Think of those really odd shaped quilts that
are such a challenge to put on to the machine. There are two clamps in
each package.

Re-closable Zippered
Storage Bags
I use
these bags to place my templates in and discovered they are the BEST for
storing my quilting and piecing projects. They are large, 16 x 16
inches, heavy duty (4 mil thick), clear plastic,
re-closable, and best of all,
they hold a LOT! I love these bags for completed quilt blocks - quilt blocks ( up to 15 inches square) will lay flat and smooth. I have even
put an unquilted queen size quilt in one with room left over! You
will find many storage uses for these bags. And they are very reasonably
priced!

In the first
photo above I have a pieced quilt (it is unquilted) which is 74 x 104
inches. There is also fabric folded in it for the binding.
The other two photos are of a project in progress
(UFO) . One photo shows the pieces of this project including 26 fat
quarters (some have already been cut into), 4 one yard pieces of
background fabric, many pieced half square triangles and four patches
and 14 - 12 inch pieced blocks! There is still room in this bag for more
fabric and pieced blocks.
7 bags for only $10!
15 bags for only $20!
The Rules of Quilting Mug
Click on the photo for a larger image
This mug is designed especially for longarm quilters! If you have
attended any of Cindy Roth's classes you will remember her saying this
time and time again. Now you can be reminded of Cindy's "Rules of
Quilting" every time you drink your coffee, tea or other beverage! This
mug also makes a great gift for your quilting friends.
According to Cindy Roth there are:
3 Rules of Quilting
1) There are NO rules!
2) There are NO quilt police!
3) Refer to Rule #1 and Rule #2!
Remember Rule #1!
