With the coming of spring weather (except for the last few days of cool and rain) a lot has been happening here at Longarm U! A little over a month ago I had knee surgery for a torn meniscus and took a few days off to recuperate! I am now mostly recovered and even walked for over a mile yesterday! It felt so good to be walking again. Maybe I will be ready for the Seattle Half Marathon in November! Last month I showed you photos of my cinder block garden which I planted with Purple Potatoes. Below is an updated photo. The potatoes are going crazy! I had to put a little fence around the garden because my dog liked to run in the dirt! Due to my knee surgery, I haven't be able to work in the garden as much as I wanted, but soon I'll be planting other veggies and flowers. When they are sprouting, I'll post some photos!
