Sashiko
is a style of quilting that originated in Japan. Its beauty comes from the
repetition of basic geometric designs. In this instance, we are talking
about circles. When circles are "manipulated" by moving and overlapping
them and with the addition of
horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines, the patterns become enriched and
more exquisite.

Traditional Sashiko patterns have been out of the reach of longarm quilters - until now! I have designed templates to take the mystery out of the quilting of traditional Sashiko designs.
Sashiko Quilting is a very precise quilting technique and requires extra time to create. As a professional longarm quilter, my Sashiko quilting is priced at my highest level of pricing.
About the Templates
The more I worked with the circular Sashiko designs, I discovered that I could combine two sizes of circles to make even MORE patterns!
Then I realized that I could combine the two sizes of circles into ONE template!
I have TWO sizes of double circle Sashiko Circles templates -
One template that makes 1-1/2 inch and 3 inch diameter circles and another templates that makes 2 inch and 4 inch diameter circles.
Not too long ago I designed the NEW 1 inch Sashiko Circles template that makes 1 inch diameter circles!!
The Sashiko Circles templates are made from 1/4 inch thick, translucent, neon colored acrylic. To ensure accuracy, each template is laser cut and laser etched. Each template is individually priced.
These templates may look a little funny, but they are designed to compensate for the width of your hopping foot. When you stitch around the template shape, your design will be precise.

NOTE: When I first designed these Sashiko templates many years ago, they were named the Circle & Wave templates. I have since re-designed the Circle & Wave template into the Sashiko Circles Templates of today.
Due to the precision cutting of these templates and slight difference in the size of the hopping foot, when you order your Sashiko Circles Template you must indicate the brand of your quilting machine.
Each template includes a complete, multi page, step-by-step, photo illustrated, spiral bound instruction manual and DVD.

These templates are laser cut and laser etched from 1/4 inch thick, neon translucent acrylic material. The color of the template corresponds to the brand of quilting machine you have.

When you order any products via our secure web-cart, you will be charged a shipping fee for each item ordered. We will re-calculate the shipping charges to the lowest fee for your order and adjust your final shipping amount.
Example: A package which weighs 2 pounds 5 ounces, will cost about $13 to ship to the East Coast from Seattle, WA. The same package, shipped to California will cost about $8. No matter what shows on your Shopping Cart receipt, when processing your order, we will adjust the cost of postage to the lowest amount possible.
International Orders: Shipping to orders outside of the US will be SIGNIFICANTLY higher and charged accordingly. For International Orders over $100 (USD) Longarm U will pay HALF of the shipping fees.
