In the Fall of 2015 I sent out a request to quilters to send in photos of quilts they have made or quilted that were donated to charity. Below are the photos that were sent to me for this challenge.
I want to thank everyone who took the time to enter this Challenge.

I make quilts for the Chaplains at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, OR. They put these quilts on the beds of patients who are at the end of their life, and then give the quilt to the family to take home with them. According to the Chaplains, these quilts help with the healing process in those final days.
It is my hope that if the patient has any waking moments that they will have a little bit of color in the white hospital setting.
I have been making quilts for them for about 2-1/2 years and have made 200 so far. These are just scrappy quilts and are definitely not show quilts, but are colorful and hopefully make hard times a little better for the families.
These are the three latest quilts that I have donated to the King County, WA, chapter of Project Linus. They are all made of nice soft flannel.
Made by the Shawnee Quilters in Southern IL. This is just 2 of the many we are making for the Masonic Children's Home in Murphysboro, IL.
Here's one I just finished. I belong to a small group called Hands All Around and we make charity quilts. I always designate mine go to someone having chemotherapy so they can snuggle and stay warm during the treatment. Then it's like a big hug to take home too.
I made the "bars" from scraps and stitched them together on adding machine tape. Then I cut them to fit the block.

I've been making and donating baby quilts to the local Family Development Center for several years. I also make and donate to the local VA hospital.
